When we were approached via a referred client to work with a renowned international brand on their global Leadership programme, we were excited to learn more. This award winning programme was designed to empower frontline leaders and their teams to work more effectively together and to take accountability for delivering business outcomes. Their commitment to developing leaders at the frontline of the organisation with a high-quality leadership development program to deliver real business outcomes, required venues of a calibre to match. Having had "mediocre" venue experiences (before coming to us) on this otherwise world-class programme, we were enlisted to help take their programmes to the next level.

Secure availability at premium properties, often short lead; 6 months notice."
After a meeting with the talent manager to understand the programme, and previous venue experiences/challenges, Destination Solutions set to work identifying suitable properties with availability. Due to high demand, one of the locations necessitated contacting over 100 venues. Whilst availability was limited, we were able to present a shortlisted of venues that were not only a strong technical fit, but ones that were of a standard and quality fitting to the caliber of attendees and cultural fits for the company.
From a shortlist of options we were able to identify two stand-out venues that were site visited for suitability. The client was delighted with both options, but one in particular; an independent 4* resort, stood-out as the event staff were clearly collaborative and invested in the success of the event. The pairing was so successful that the event has been booked at this particular venue for the past 4 years.
We continue to book multiple venues and provide ongoing remote event support year-on-year, despite staff changes client-side, enabling smooth transition. Working with the client to support their venue needs and pre-event planning on this programme has been a true partnership which has enabled their programme manager to deliver business-critical results. The program has continued to drive impact in the business and participant feedback remains at a very high level.
